Materials…

  • BasicGrey patterned paper
  • Cardstock
  • Acrylic paint
  • Green pen
  • Pale blue inkpad
  • Clear crystals
  • www.twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com – Think Pink font
  • www.twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com – Christmas Wishes dingbat font

To create…

1 Using the Robo Master software and Christmas Wishes dingbat font, size the row of trees to fill an A4 piece of cardstock and cut twice from white cardstock. Also cut the title using the Think Pink font, along with a tiny snowflake.

2 Take the first row of trees and place towards the top of the patterned cardstock. Using this as a mask, sponge around it with white paint then remove the mask and outline the trees with a double line of green pen.

3 Cut the second row of trees into sections. Paint the centre of the trees one shade of green, edging the outside of each tree with a different shade once dry. Add outline detail to these trees using the green pen.

4 Edge the lettering and photo with the pale blue ink. Arrange the photo, trees and lettering onto the layout and adhere.

5 Use a large clear crystal for the bottom of the exclamation mark. Affix a small crystal in the centre of the snowflake and use the rest to randomly decorate the masked trees.

6 Write your journaling onto a piece of white cardstock, trim, edge with blue ink and adhere to the top of the layout.
