You’ll need..

  • White 10.5×14.8cm card
  • White cardstock
  • Phone book pages
  • Gesso or diluted white paint
  • Magenta, Violet, Turquoise & Phthalo Blue PanPastels
  • Sofft tools

  • Spellbinders Nestabilities Blossom & Labels 1 dies
  • Die-cutting machine
  • May Arts ribbon
  • Pink button
  • PVA glue or glue stick
  • Silicone glue

Step by step..

1 Using the collage background technique below with squares and rectangles cut out of an old phone book, make a collage patchwork panel and cover it lightly with gesso or diluted white paint. Allow to dry.

2 Use spare paper to mask off one of the phone book shapes and add colour using PanPastels. Move the papers into a different shape and use a different PanPastel colour. Keep working until you have a patchwork of different colours.

3 Add ribbon then stick the patchwork panel to the card front. Cut a label from white cardstock, stamp a sentiment in the bottom-right corner and fix to the card front using silicone glue.

4 Die-cut several small blossoms from newspaper and colour with magenta and violet PanPastels. Add the button, scrunch the blossom and stick to the card front to finish.
