chocoholic

Materials…

  • Light and dark brown, cream and pink patterned fabrics
  • Making Memories patterned paper
  • Pale pink, mid pink and brown Bazzill cardstock
  • Brown glitter
  • Pinking shears
  • Scallop-edged scissors

To create…

1 Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 21x15cm and crease-fold to make an A6 card blank. Cut a strip of green dotty paper measuring 10.5x3cm and trim using scallop-edged scissors. Fix to the card as shown.

2 On a computer, print your message and trim to 10.5×1.5cm. Stick to the bottom of the card.

3 Add double-sided tape to card scraps and cover with fabric, then cut out nine chocolate shapes from the pieces. Cut ovals, corner-rounded squares and circles each measuring 1.5cm across.

4 Decorate each chocolate with strips of card, diamond-shaped fabrics, glitter or strips cut with pinking shears.

5 Trim a 5.5cm square of brown card using scalloped scissors. Mount the nine chocolates onto this square using foam pads.

6 Cut a 7.5cm square of pink card. Score 8mm in from each edge and fold into a box shape, cutting tabs and gluing at the corners. Assemble the chocolate box together and affix to the card as shown.
