Materials…

  • White Prima paper flower
  • Green Ribbon Girl ribbon
  • Peeled Paint Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint
  • Lili of the Valley Printed image and sentiment stamp
  • Pearl beads
  • Beach Chair & Front Porch October Afternoon double sided patterned paper

To create…

1 Create a white 14.5cm-square card blank, cut a 14cm-square of Beach Chair patterned paper and wrap a length of green ribbon around tying at the side. Attach the square to the card front leaving a narrow border.

2 Cut a 10.5cm-square of white cardstock and layer with a 10cm-square of Front Porch patterned paper, mount the printed image onto the square and affix to the card front using 3D foam pads.

3 Select a large paper flower, cover with a thick layer of Crackle Paint, and set aside to dry. Don’t worry if the flower curls up as it dries, you can straighten it out when it is completely dry and this will create extra cracks in the paint giving the flower a lovely distressed effect.

4 Create a small rosette from co-ordinating ribbon, stitch pearl beads into the centre and attach to the flower.

5 Affix the flower to the card front add a stamped sentiment as shown to finish.
