  • K&Co Sparkly Sweet 12×12” paper pad
  • Green metallic thread
  • Papermania sentiment stamps
  • Purple inkpad
  • Paper-piercing tool
  • Needle

To create…

1 Cut a 10.5×5.5cm aperture in the front of an A6 card blank. Cut a corresponding aperture in an A6 piece of purple cardstock

2 Pierce a series of 10 equally spaced holes along each edge of the aperture in the purple cardstock. Attach the end of green thread to the back of the card and use a needle to ‘sew’ the thread through the last hole on the right of one of the shorter sides. Wind the thread across the aperture and sew in down through the furthest hole on the adjacent long side of the aperture.

3 Bring the thread back up through the furthest hole of the other shorter side of the aperture then back down again through the furthest hole on the remaining longer side of the aperture. Continue following this pattern, moving one hole along each side with every winding. Secure the end of the thread at the back of the cardstock.

4 Attach the purple cardstock to the front of the card blank. Cut a strip of patterned paper and attach it across the card front along with a flower cut from the paper. Stamp the sentiment in place.

5 Cut a dragonfly square from patterned paper, ink the edges and adhere inside the card, to show through the aperture.
