Materials…
- Marianne Design Creatables Flower Doily & Ribbon Border 1 dies
- Lip Gloss & In The Pink Bazzill Bling cardstock
- Prima Jack n Jill patterned paper & floral embellishments
- Die-cutting machine
- White cardstock
- Willow organza ribbon
- Silver peel-offs
- Brad
- Foam pads
To create…
1 Create a 5”-square card blank from white cardstock and cover the front with patterned paper.
2 Cut a 4.25” square of Lip Gloss cardstock and add a 4.25×2.25” piece of patterned paper towards the bottom.
3 Die-cut a ribbon border from In The Pink cardstock, thread Willow ribbon through the slots and secure at the back using double-sided tape. Affix to the panel from Step 2.
4 Cut and emboss the Flower Doily twice from patterned. With a score board, score across from point to point and then in between across the lacy area. Fold the scored lines so that the point lines fold outwards and the scorelines inwards, causing a concertina effect. You will need to cut once from laced part into centre on each of the two shapes. Place the doily shapes together to form a circle and affix in place.
5 Add a flower and brad in the centre of the doily, affix to the ribbon border panel and secure to the card front.
6 Cut six flower shapes from patterned paper and place in the top and bottom left corners as shown, then add a peel-off sentiment to finish.
