Materials…
- White square card blank
- BasicGrey Mellow patterned papers
- Thin corrugated cardboard
- Brown ink
- Tree stamp
- Brown ribbon
- Small piece of white cardstock
- ‘Happy Birthday’ stamp
- Brown cardstock
- Orange embroidery floss
To create…
1 Mount brown cardstock just within the white card blank itself. Mount a smaller piece of the tree-patterned paper from the BasicGrey collection within the brown cardstock area.
2 Cut some thin corrugated cardboard to fit within one half of the tree paper, ripping the thin covering off to reveal the texture.
3 Ink the tree stamp in brown on a small piece of white card, inking the edges in brown.
4 Before you fix the stamped image, wrap a length of brown ribbon around the front of the card and tie a bow. Fix the stamped image on top using 3D foam tape.
5 Stamp a ‘happy birthday’ greeting on a small piece of white cardstock and trim it to look like a tag. Mount onto plain green patterned paper and secure a small knot onto the tag shape using orange embroidery floss. Fix to the bottom-right of the tree image.

Love the Happy Birthday card by Louisa 23 July 2010 but would like to know where to get the “tree stamp” or what company makes it.
