To create…
Cut your background cardstock to 21cm in width.
Create a new A4 document in Photoshop. Draw a rectangle on a new layer the same size as your photograph (5×7″) and fill it black. Place this where you wish the photograph to be.
Open your chosen digital photograph frame. Select the entire document by pressing ctrl+A (cmd+a on a Mac) and copy it, ctrl+c (cmd+c on a Mac). Paste this into your A4 document, ctrl+v (cmd+v on a Mac).
Resize the image so that it frames your black ‘photograph’. Press ctrl+t (cmd+t on a Mac) to activate the transform tool and drag the little square handles in the corner until the frame is the correct size. Press ‘enter’ to exit the transform tool.
Create your title using the digital alphabet and place the letters on the left-hand side of the frame. You will need to rotate the letters 90( by choosing Edit | Transform | Rotate 90( Counter Clockwise. You may also need to resize them using the transform tool (See above).
Delete the black rectangle and print onto your cardstock.
Add the strips of paper to the left-hand side, ensuring the layout measures 12×12″.
Print a few extra letters onto the ‘cut off’ piece of white cardstock and cut them out – adhere to the layout over the title using foam tape to add a bit of texture.
Print and add other embellishments and decorate the frame with adhesive gems.
