To create…
Fold a 21x22cm sheet of white cardstock to create a side-fold card blank, and score.
Using a torso template, trace the design directly onto a clean plastic ice-cream lid and carefully cut out. Wrap the fabric from a men’s tie around the torso, and add stitches to the back to secure in place. Sew a button to the bodice of the dress as shown.
Tear a small piece of an old sewing pattern and scrunch to create a flower shape – sew a small bead to the centre of the flower, and sew to the edge of the dress. Secure a small piece of white tulle to the bottom of the dress for a frill.
Using a needle and thread, secure the dress to a 22×10.5cm piece of aqua cardstock.
Stamp your sentiment stamp in the bottom right-hand corner of the aqua cardstock panel using Sepia Ranger Archival ink, then secure the finished panel to the card front.
