Materials…
- White triangle card blank
- Silver mirri card
- All About Boys DCVW paper stack
- Rock Star DCWV paper stack
- Orange bendy straw
- Crafter’s Companion Spray & Shine
- Holographic printed acetate offcuts
- Fine embossing tool
To create…
1 Cut a piece of black & silver star-patterned paper to fit the triangular card front and matt with silver mirri card, leaving a narrow border. Adhere as shown.
2 Cut out a selection of space ships, planets and shooting stars from the patterned paper and spray with Spray & Shine to give a glossy effect. Assemble onto the card to create a background scene across the bottom of the card.
3 Use the spacesuit pattern to create a costume for the smallest Wild Boy template. Place the suit on the finished body, and draw folds into the spacesuit with a fine embossing tool. Bend the knee upwards on one leg, and place layers of foam pads behind to create that floating movement.
4 Create a helmet using the template, and insert a strip of holographic foiled acetate across the top of the visor area. Cut a length of a bendy straw and fix behind the helmet to resemble an air pipe.
5 Fix the finished spaceman in place diagonally across the card.
