To create…
1 Cut a strip of patterned paper approximately 10″ inches long, 1″ wide at one end and widening out to 1.5″ at the other. Doodle around the edges then attach to the left-hand side of the page.
2 Distress the photo using a sanding file by placing the photo with 1cm overhanging the edge of a table. Run the file over the top of the photo along the edge of the table to create a subtle frame. Repeat for each side, then attach the photo to the page.
3 Cut the paint sample card into three pieces, placing one piece lengthways at the top of the photo, and the other two either side of the patterned paper strip.
4 Use a craft knife to slice strips into the paper and photo, then thread through the cable ties, cutting them off at varying lengths.
5 Using a paper piercer, pierce holes in the toilet door sign and thread through with floss. Attach the sign and embellishments.
6 Add your title to the bottom-right corner of the photo.
