To create…

Cut red cardstock to measure 8 1/2 x 3 1/2″ and score at 2 1/4″ and 5 1/4″. Trim off the right-hand top corner at a diagonal and border punch the left-hand edge.

Cover the face with the trimmed corner with patterned paper, leaving a small edge. Pierce holes along the longest edge and down the diagonal edge. Use the Big Bite to punch two holes that will coincide with the holes in the scalloped edge in the opposite flap when closed, then thread with twine.

Close the diagonal trimmed face of the folder and pierce holes along the short side and bottom through both layers.

Begin stitching the end of the last flap, going up the long side and down the diagonal. Close the folder and stitch through both layers on the other two sides to form a pocket.

Paint and ink two grungeboard hinges, stamp the quote onto patterned paper and trim. Tear a small square piece of a book page slightly wider than the quote panel and ink the edges. Layer these pieces on the card front.

Cut small cards to fit inside the folder from assorted patterned papers. Border punch the corners and place them inside the folder.
