Materials…

  • Cosmo Cricket patterned paper
  • CherryArte, Making Memories alphabets
  • Studio G alphabet stamps
  • Fontwerks, BasicGreylabel
  • Tesco sticky note
  • Vintage book
  • Sequin waste
  • Vintage buttons
  • Embroidery thread
  • Empty packaging

To create…

1 Cut around the sections of plastic packaging that you want to use, leaving a border of approximately 3mm.

2 Decide what you are going to fill your shaker boxes with – I used three buttons and a chipboard letter ’2′ to make ’2000′.

3 Carefully apply glue to the small border of the shaker box. I used Anita’s Tacky Glue, as it has a good hold, meaning the shaker box will not snap off the page later.

4 Carefully place the content of your shaker box on your layout and place the plastic cover that you have glued on top.

5 Let the glue dry. Try not to move the content too much whilst the glue is drying to avoid the content sticking to the edges.

6 Embellish the rest of the page as desired.
