To create…
Stamp Snuggle Bunny by House Mouse onto a sheet of watercolour paper using Jet Black Archival ink and cut out using the second largest dye from Labels Eight by Nestabilities.
Colour in using Distress inks by patting the inks onto a non-stick craft mat and, using it as a palette, apply the inks with a Zig water brush or a paintbrush and water. Use Weathered Wood for the rabbit, Vintage Photo for the mouse, Tattered Rose and Milled Lavender for faces, ears, paws and tails with Worn Lipstick for the tips of their noses. Finally paint the leaves and flowers with Peeled Paint and Dusty Concord. Use a wet brush to put a wash of colour all over each figure and flower and then use a nearly dry brush to intensify the colour for shading.
Distress around the edges with Old Paper and Tea Dye inks and then add a light touch of Vintage Photo. When dry, dot each flower with Crystal Stickles glitter and smudge some more along the ground. Embellish with Prima Hydrangeas and pearls attached with Glue Dots and add a bow to the bottom-right hand corner, attaching the ends around the back with adhesive tape. Sew a small cream button onto the knot of the bow.
Cut out the striped paper with the largest of the Label Eight dies and then cut the newsprint paper into a 3.5×15cm strip. Cut the pale pink paper into a piece large enough to completely cover the face of a cream card blank. Distress all pieces using Old Paper and Tea Dye inks.
Cut a strip of the deep pink paper to 2.5cm wide and punch out using the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. Distress as before and, using double-sided tape, attach to the left hand side of the card. Cut to size, once in position.
With double-sided tape, attach pale pink paper to the card base and then add the newsprint paper strip to the middle of the card. Centre the striped paper and attach as before and finally place the Snuggle Bunny picture on top using double-sided tape once again.
