To create…
Fold the A5 card blank in half to create a tall card blank and trim off 2 cm from the length. Cut a rectangle of paisley paper to measure 4.5x4cm and stick near the fold, two-thirds up on the card.
Computer-print the wording in white surrounded by an orange box. Trim to 1.5cm-wide using scallop-edged scissors, attach to the card and trim to length.
Punch a 3″ green circle, chalk the edges and add glitter. Punch a leaf shape from yellow cardstock, chalk and glitter as a flame. Cut a candle shape from blue cardstock, chalk and glitter.
Punch two 2″ circles, one each from pink cardstock and stripy paper. Trim two edges from the stripy paper to make a cake case shape. Trim a third in a crescent shape from the pink circle using scallop-edged scissors to make the cake’s icing.
Assemble the cupcake, adding gemstones to the icing and a punched orange flower with a gemstone centre. Attach the cake to the green circle and attach the circle to the card.
