To create…
Take a small notebook and cover with stripy paper, fixed into position using double-sided tape and taking care to fold in the edges neatly.
Add a turquoise band of card, approximately 4.5cm wide, along one side, again folding in the edges neatly and securing with double-sided tape.
Take a 12mm-wide strip of green card and use a pin to mark out holes evenly down its centre. Use a needle and white cotton to stitch and use double-sided tape to fix this into position along the edge of the turquoise section.
Take one of the shapes from the accessories page and fold slightly off centre. Glue one edge to the back of the book and apply Velcro to the other.
Apply another piece of Velcro to the front of the book to line up with the one located on the tag to ensure that they fasten together.
Take one of the flowers from the accessories page and pierce the centre with a large turquoise brad. Fix to the tab using foam pads.
Fix one end of a length of pink ribbon and attach to the inside cover of your book using double-sided tape. Thread beads onto the other end and sandwich the ribbon between two die-cut scallop circles. Use PVA glue to secure.
Die-cut the initials that you require and stick onto the centre of the scalloped circle before finishing off with a small flower.
