Materials…
- Gold 32-gauge wire
- Laura Ashley assorted beads
- Red Inspire Me metallic cardstock
- Gold Inspire Me card
- White cardstock
- 4.5mm knitting needles
- Double-sided tape
To create…
1 In a random colour mix, thread 100 beads onto the wire.
2 Cast 10 stitches onto the knitting needles.
3 For the first row, slide a bead into place as you knit each stitch. For the second row, knit without adding in the beads.
4 Repeat the last two rows a further 10 times each to complete the pattern.
5 Cast off the wire. Attach the finished piece to a square of white card by piercing the card with holes, one in each corner and one in the middle.
6 Hold the piece in place by wrapping lengths of wire around sections and threading them through the holes. Secure the wire in place at the back of the card with double-sided tape.
7 Matt the card firstly onto a square of gold card, then onto a square of red metallic card. Mount onto a white square card blank.
