Hy
Yur offer is interesting but when I try to download either set all I get is a blank screen….I have high speed service & I get the “done” notification but the screen just stays blank….There is no blocking notice so I just don’t know what is wrong.
Is anyone else having this problem ?
Is there some other way to get to the material?

I have attempted twice to download the magazine from the link on the web page but have not been sucessful. Is it not working ?
Jan 08, 2010 @ 21:41:34
I have tried unsuccessfully 2 times to download your free Creative Cardmaking Issue 8. The magazine link just leaves a blank page and the papers link starts to download then after a short period of time closes down (approx. 18% downloaded).
Please advise how to rectify this.
Thank you

I look forward to receiving in the post copies of this magazine. It is full of great information and the free papers are just to die for. I am a very keen reader of craft magazines so this one is another, being disabled and not able to drive, when the magazines start to come in I have lots of reading matter, down loading and looking up and saving on the computer great ideas. Thanks so much for such a wonderful publication

Hi ladies
The downloads should be working fine, and the links definitely aren’t broken, but by the sound of it a few people are having problems with them. I suspect these are related to the large size of the files – even on a fast broadband connection they may take several minutes to download, and I think for some reason your Web browsers could be giving up partway through.
I’d suggest that rather than clicking normally (ie left-clicking) on the links, you right-click and choose the “Save Target As” (or just “Save As” depending on which Web browser you’re using) to save the file to somewhere convenient on your computer.
Also, if you’re using any download managers (such as GoZilla or GetRight) you may want to temporarily disable these to see if that makes any difference.
Hope that helps!
Jan 11, 2010 @ 13:28:58
Thanks for the tip of right-clicking and saving target. Works a treat now.
Jan 11, 2010 @ 14:24:00
THANKS FOR THE TIP FROM THE WEBMASTER REGARDING THE DOWNLOAD.
I HAD JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP,ANYONE WHO IS HAVING DIFFICULTY TRY RIGHT CLICKING AND SAVE-THIS SEEMS TO WORK JUST FINE.

Hi all and Happy New Year
If like me you had trouble downloading either the magazine or papers then- right click where it says ‘click here’ instead of left clicking and then click ‘save as’ or ‘save target as’ and select a folder on your pc in which to store them. It only takes couple mins so be patient.
Fab and unusual papers, some suitable for all year round not just christmas. thanks very much to everyone at PPI.

Jan 14, 2010 @ 14:24:28
I follow the magazine from Australia and buy from my newsagent even though it is 2 or 3 months behind. I love the free papers but cannot connect to the site to download the magazine. Is there a problem? Keep up the good work. Love the mag.
Jan 27, 2010 @ 14:54:39
Wow! I’ve just downloaded the papers & they are stunning!! Thank you! Just wondering whether to print them onto normal paper or photo paper for the shiny effect!
Jan 31, 2010 @ 23:45:18
Fabulous! Thank you, for once I COULD download them both!!
Although when I first tried to ‘Save As ‘ or Save Page’ the magazine, a box came up saying ‘spyder’ and password… that was ok but then it said:-
C:\Documents and Settings\Lyns New Doc\Lyns HDrive21May09\My Documents\crc8.pdf could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
so I just pressed the save button, and that was okay (no password came up) Thank you!

Just noticed…if I press the ‘non’ picture thingy by my comments…it goes to my blog, how clever it that! ps… I usually use Tesco’s finest 120gms, but the shinning paper sounds nice!
