Materials…
- Maya Road Mementos Villa
- Fancy Pants Botanical papers, borders, ribbons and rub-ons
- Tulip Making Memories Scrapbook Colors
- Buttons
- Flower punch metal brad
- Crystal Ranger Stickles glitter glue
To create…
1 Use the house, roof and chimney as templates to draw around onto patterned paper.
2 Paint all the elements of the house with two layers of Tulip paint allowing drying time between each application.
3 Cut out the patterned paper pieces you created in step 1.
4 Attach the patterned paper to the outer four walls of the house. (We used a Xyron Creative Station with a permanent adhesive cartridge for this bit…the adhesive is instant, mess free and gives an even coverage.)
5 Cut a piece of blue paper to sit behind the window frames and attach as shown.
6 Apply rub-ons to the door, fix a brad in place for the door knob, and attach to the house using 3D foam pads.
7 Attach the window to the front of the house and decorate the frame with punched flowers. Glue a button to the centre of each flower.
8 Cover the roof with patterned paper making sure that you cut the hole for the chimney stack.
9 Cover the chimney stack with patterned paper and fix a border along the top edge. Attach the chimney stack to the roof.
10 Highlight the roof with glitter glue and add buttons as shown.
