I have finally joined crafts on the net after putting it off for months. I love all type of crafts, but mostly paper crafts and making making jewellery but my results are not always perfect!

Anyway, my reason to join is to find out if anyone knows about the Scottish Craft Extravaganza that was happening in Perth, Scotland.

As I live in a very remote location, I don't manage to get to many workshops or belong to a craft group, so I was really looking forward to going to a two day workshop in May. Unfortunately, I have heard no more from the venue and my deposit has been refunded with out any explanation.

If anyone knows anything, I would love to hear back , or, if anyone knows of a craft club or workshops being run near Oban or in Argyll, perhaps they could let me know?

Hi Linda

Sorry I live way way down South, so don't know about the Scottish Craft Extravaganza. But just wanted to welcome you to the site and hope you will perhaps find joining in with our Card Challenges and ATC swaps might be a little bit like joining a local craft group. I hope someone on here can enlighten you to what happened.

Welcome to the forum. I hope enjoy chatting and joining in with anything that takes your fancy.

I live near Dundee but haven't heard anything about a craft extravaganza in Perth otherwise I would have booked. I can only think that it might have been planned as part of the annual Scone countryfair which is usually around the beginning of July.

Isn't wonky stuff on cards compulsary ?? I am yet to make a 'perfect' card !!!!

Sorry to hear about your craft extravaganza – it can be a right pain living rural sometimes can't it. I was delighted to find a local monthly crop only 20 miles away. I can imagine you were very disappointed.
