Hi Everyone,

I live in Angus in Scotland but was born in London.  I love all kinds of crafting and enjoy trying new techniques.  I subscribed to the site a couple of weeks ago and have joined the ATC swap.  I've also tried unsuccessfuly to upload some pictures.  I followed the instructions right to the point of clicking 'insert' but this option doesn't appear on the pop-up window anywhere.  I've gone through the proces about a dozen times, trying various options and 'insert' isn't there.  Can anyone help please.

Hi Sue,

I am from Scotland also but I am from Motherwell, just outside Glasgow. Dont know if you have heard of it.

I am not too sure of the whole picture uploading process either, I have successfully uploaded a handful and I think it was sheer luck that I made it!! Hopefully someone will be around shortly to help you.

Yes I do know Motherwell although never been there.  I'll keep trying with the pics. and have emailed the help section of the site so hopefully one of the techie people can help me.  It's so frustrating because it works perfectly except I don't have the insert tab on the screen to click.  Hey-ho what would life be without it's little challenges.

I managed to get a few on earlier but I think it was just pot luck to be honest.. couldnt even tell you what I did, I just clicked buttons!! Although I did have to reduce the size of my pics as they were too big!! Frown

hi Sue welcome to the site the downloading part  you have to reduce your photos right down to i think its 500 pixels or they wont download i had trouble downloading mine till i realised they were too big i redused them and it worked hope this helps

Hi Gill

Thanks for clarifying the pixel size.  I have managed to download some pictures and they are in a file but there is no 'insert' tab for more to click nor do the pictures show when I click 'Browse'.  It's so frustrating but I'll keep trying.  Looking forward to receiving the ATC swaps.

hi Sue

the way i did it is click the thing that looks like a tree it will open a box the top one has a camera on the side click the camera it will open another box click upload then another box will come up at the bottom click the search botton search your comp for the download click the download you want and when it comes into the boxs at the opp side there is a button with upload on click that and hopfully you should have your download hope this helps

Hi Sue and welcome to the forum. I have never been able to load an image using the buttons on this forum all the time I was using Firefox but I see that now I have switched to Google Chrome it seems the buttons are working, so I am hopeful of loading normally. Previously I have had to use HTTP tags to get my images in.

I don't see anything like Gill is explaning though, maybe it depends on your browser.
