Hi Everyone,

A nice morning here – have taken to dogs out for a nice long walk and it was a lovely morning for it. Daisy has a school trip today to the zoo as their topic this term is animals – hopefully the weather will stay nice for her. Need to catch up today with the housework which I didn't get round to yesterday after the car breaking down – lucky me ! Have a good day folks.

Its dull here at the moment, but no rain.

Off into town as Keith has a dental appointment, I need to get a Golden Wedding present.

Good morning early birds and later ones.

Had an email from Louisa saying she got in touch withTechy guys and yes there was a problem yesterday. But all should be sorted now.

Karen deleted a couple of your posts you must have been excited to post it three times lol.

Mel sorry to here of your car troubles yesterday, nothing worse than wasting time.

Got a bargain from Staples the other day, don't know if you have seen the new Brother A3 printer on C/C @ £299 well Staples have it @ £199. I know I already have an A3 printer but this one scans in A3 (unlike the H/P one) prints in A3 and does heavier card than my top feed one. So thought what the heck can't pass up a bargain can we crafters.

Oh and my embroidery machine has bids on again (on Ebay) so we will see if these are genuine. Also had a call from a chap about my caravan for sale, hope it doesn't sell just yet I need to use it this w/end for Westpoint Craft Show.

Morning everyone

Busy today trying to get back to 'normal' before we go off again at the weekend. Friends are fine after the fire. Fortunately most of the damage was in the yard. Bit of smoke in the house but everyone is safe & that's the main thing.

Had a crafty party at home last night. Brilliant fun but by the time we'd had a gossip & demolished a few bottles of wine not a lot of crafting done but the chaos this morning is evidence that we did do something. Latest gossip in the village is that Jody Scheckter, James Martin & Chris Evans are buying one of the village pubs – probably be too expensive for the locals to use if that happens but never mind we've got 3 others.

Off now to the 'step' for a while to try & clear the hangover.

Is that Jody Schekter the racing driver Anji? If it is it seems these guys are all going into the beveridge business, we went to Mario Andretti's wine estate when we were in San Franscico,also very pricey but quite yummy.
