Morning all. Less than a month until the big day & things are getting busy. We went to Portsmouth yesterday for the Victorian Christmas and it was fantastic. Made friends with the reindeer, had a mug of mulled wine, tasted all the wines & spirits on the way round and even had a ride on the gallopers. Isn't it amazing how fast they go when you've had a drink! Lots of craft stalls but surprisingly few handmade cards. Has everyone else come to the conclusion there is no longer any money to be made from them. I reckon the country has been swamped with kits so the only people in profit now are the big boys.

We had a wander round HMS Victory while we were there. Highly recommended but if you have a fear of heights/falling as I do be aware that the steps going down are a lot steeper than going up. I caused chaos as I could not get down from the top deck, a panic attack was definitely brewing but the Navy to the rescue. I only asked if there was a quieter way down so I wasn't hassled by everyone behind and the guy let us go down the emergency exit. Still a lot of open steps but no-one else around – until half the British Navy came at us from in front & behind to help. Ohhhh, I do love a uniform!!!!!

Enough of my shenanigans, off now to get the housework down as I've got a crafty open house next week.
