Hi All.

I belong to a Card Swap Club, which is very good as you get ideas etc .

Once a month you have a topic and a partner to send a card to. Those belonging to the club give their address to the organiser and this in turn is given out each month by PM. The partner changes each month (if there are enough takers)

The one I belong to works well and you get a variety of cards and new ideas, plus any new method you haven't seen before can then be discussed with that partner. And it is lovely to receive a card each month. Trouble is you just have to have folders to keep them all in. they are so precious.

Ohh we are both full of ideas Bren!

I would be interested in this… hopefully there are enough takers as this seems a brilliant idea!!!

I need something to keep my cardmaking at the moment as I seem to be getting distracted at the moment by other things..

Im game for anything!!! (should I really have said that) lol!!! I want to be apart of as many different things as possible…..Ive been stagnent for to long now….. this is a lovely idea as is the birthday club. COUNT ME IN!!!!

Ok there are only three of us in at the moment, but we could start with that if you are happy to.

Please forward your name and address to me so I can put you in the hat for a partner.

The topic for June will be:

SUMMER FUN

So all you do is make a card with that theme, and send it to your given partner.

PLEASE, do not let your partner down as there is nothing worse than sending but not receiving your swap. I know I have been there on another forum

Bren is there a time limit to this?

This is my first Card Swap… so can I do any kind of card at all as long as it is in the summer theme?

Do people actually let their partners down? Seeing how there is only 3 of us why dont we just send to each other the now until it evens up a bit, i dont mind… I will go with whatever am told to do anyway lol

Ok for those that haven't done this before, each month there will be a topic, you choose what you want to do with in that topic so this month is Summer Fun, so it could be a beach scene, tennis etc etc up to you so long as you stick with in the theme.

You will each have a partner and that partner must receive their card by the end of the given month, ie this one is by the end of June.

So I hold your name and address and PM to your partner each month.

If we don't get an even number one month I will make two for that month to even things up.

If for any reason you can't enter one month then please let me know so a partner is not let down.

If I don't receive your name and address then I can't enter you in the swap, but you only need to send it the once as you will then be enter automatically after that each month.

Do hope we get a good response to this as it does help the mojo to keep going.

Carrie, yes there are some out there that let people down and its not nice.

So if ever anyone gets let down they must let me know.

Most importantly, have fun everyone.

There has not been a response for this idea, I have only received one name, so under the circumstances it's best we cancell this idea until such times as there are enough people to make it fun.

If anyone out there should be interested in the future, please PM me and we will open it up again once we have a few names.

Aww thats so sad to hear! Keep my name and details anyway and if you get more members then let me know and we can get started! Its soo sad there are no more takers as it is such a good idea!!

Do you have Facebook Bren? There is a Crafts on the Net group on there and you have done a post on there about it….
