Morning everyone – where are you?

Got back from Devon & Cornwall last night after a brilliant weekend at Dingles as well as visiting the family. That was our last planned trip in the caravan so got to get the clear out & clean up done now ready for winter.

That's got to wait a couple of days though cause I've parties booked for the end of the week so need to get the prep done. Off now to check emails.

Hi Anji

Glad you had a great time and I hope the weather was good. Do you ever stand still! Just back and parties, plural , wow.

I think it was quiet because there've been some techi problems which caused the site to crash. I didn't know until I emailed Jacki and she told me but this morning it looks like all is fixed, so business as usual.

Let's hope this post works !!! Haven't been able to use the site all weekend either. Nice to see it back to normal. Georgous day here. Have been in the garden digging the veggie plot and generally having a tidy up. Need a cuppa now !

Well done Sue with having the layout published in scrapbook magazine – always nice to see someones work you know in magazines.

Morning…

Had a rough few days… I went to London on Saturday, and had a phone call to say Mum had fallen and had been taken to Hospital. I phoned to find out what had happened and the hospital said she was fine, waiting on transport to take her back… nothing broken. Sunday morning another phone call to say she had fallen again… long story short, still nothing broken, but she isnt too good. Urine infection, kidney and thyroid test 'out of sorts' So they are keeping her in to try and sort it out. Went yesterday and she wasnt very good…. not my mum – I know urine infections can increase confusion – but she wouldnt talk to me…even look at me. This is when I find it hard, Keith is amazing and says all the right things… and I know deep down that she cant help what she does or says… but I hate to see Mum in so much pain. Think we are going to have to look into putting her in a nursing home. Just wish everything was so different

Have got some washing out, its really warm out…think we are having an Indian Summer!

Good afternoon, well finally got the gremlins sorted on here have we, all I was getting was a picture of a foreign pub on most of the threads, that was when I managed to get into the site the very very long way round.

Karen so sorry to hear about your mum, I do wonder if these homes make sure that residents are drinking enough fluids etc.
