Hello,

I used to be a member but I wasn't on for so long that they hoisted me off so I had re-register – boo hiss!

Just wondering if you can help. I love distress inks but quite often I try to use them with clear acrylic stamps and the stamped image is blotchy because the ink doesn't attach to the stamp very well. In fact this sometimes happens with my rubber stamps too

Can anyone suggest a solution at all?

Hi, Soph,

if you want a flat colour try Stampin Up dye inks or Whispers ,

Different inks give different effects and have different uses.

The distress inks are supposed to leave a mottled/aged effect so there is nothing wrong with what you are doing!
