Here are the cards that my little ones made me. Ed's drawn his (they are 2 aliens – me and him !!!) Daisy made the other, she also made her own envelope for it to go in all by herself.

Hubby sent them to my craft room on their own and this what they came up with !

I used to be a bit protective of my stash but now I think – if they are crafting end enjoying themselves then they can use whatever. They are really good as they know that the big shot and craft knives are out of bounds unless they have help otherewise they can help themselves.

Don't know about everyone else but I would rather have a handmade card over a shop bought one any day!

Oh Mel they are lovely, your right hand made is best, my eldest daughter got me into card making as she used to make tea bag tile discs and sell them and I saw what she produced with them and got the bug.

So now I get annoyed as the last two years she has sent me shop bought, when I asked her why, "it's because she has to keep putting her stash away she hasn't got room to leave it out", what an excuse.

So I am very jealous of your cards, I love them.

Awww Mel… they are soooo cute – must say, you are a very nice alien :)

Totally agree… handmade cards are so much better – thanks for sharing.

That made me smile Jacki – that Amy ask you to make your own card !!!! They'll try anything won't they !!

I'm very lucky – Daisy is craft mad – she has even asked for her own craft room as she doesn't like having to share mummy's desk lol! Her stash has taken over most of the room as it is. Ed I think is getting to that stage where he does make his cards but only because it is 'suggested' to him that he does ! Mind you he treasures the cards that I've made him and has them all in his treasure box in his room. Mainly because they they have all been themed to his latest craze !

Hi Mel

The cards are lovely and no doubt you'll always treasure them.  Children constantly amaze me with their understanding of colour, design and what 'looks right'.
