Unfortunaty I dont have a craft room (live in a small flat with my 10 year old son and my fiancee), anyway, I just take over the dinner table and the surrounding chairs and floor space!!  As you can see from my picture I make cakes aswell (and sew, paint etc etc etc…) so Im always up to my eyes in something.  Im registered disabled due to severe asthma and crafting keeps me sane….(although not everyone would agree with that)…… My next main task is my boys 11th birthday next month…..and am going to co-ordinate his card and cake together……Ive been instructed that this years 'theme' is warhammer!……Don't you just love kids!!!  lol……..  think I will do some more fairy stuff at the moment though whilst waiting to slapped with the inspiration!….. what is everyone else working on??

I dont have a crafting room either.  ive got the fold out garden table wedged in a corner of my bedroom lol.  I can relate to your situation Trudie.  Im not disabled but I do have a disabled daughter so I can totally understand how crafting helps with stress levels and sanity lol.  I certainly don't envy you having to do a warhammer theme!  The last cake I attempted was a Fizz from the Tweenies complete with Cadbury flake hair!!  It did look good and I was chuffed to bits with it but that was when my girl was 2.  She's 7 now and there's no way on this planet I would try to attempt Hannah Montanna (the new fad).

The idea of challenges is brilliant.  I adore all the magazines and like to do the scraplift challenges every now and then so some new ideas and challenges from you girls will be brilliant.

I mainly do scrapbooking and Im working on a book of me.  It feels weird scrapping myself but I thought it would be nice for my one day grandkids to be able to get to know me a bit better.  I dont really know that much about my grandparents which is a shame and I really wish I did.  Im also preparing a Harry's 1st year book.  Evie (my daughter) has one of her own and Im expecting a boy at the end of August so am getting all the papers and boyish bits together.  Any excuse for a crafting shopping spree eh lol.

Ooooh oooh oooh.  Just got mine too.  No letter with it though.  Are we meant to be reviewing these does anyone know??  I received:

Creative beads & jewellery

Complete cardmaking

Papercraft Essentials and

Simply cards and papercraft.

No scrapbooking one tho Frown.  Im so happy they turned up already.  My little girl is in hospital for a whole day next monday so it'll give me something to read to take my mind off things.

Hi everyone!

I've just spoken to Iain & asked him what you need to do with your magazines and this is what he's asked me to reply to you with…

Hi

Your regular magazines will take up to a month to start to arrive due to having to set things up in advance with the mailing house

This bundle should keep you going – if you could post your thoughts on the other feedback forum (you will see examples on there) that would be great

Thanks

So from this I take it he wants you to add your thoughts to the topics that are already up there on the existing feedback forum. If you don't understand any of what he's written just let me know & I'll go pester him for you :)
