And here's a simple square card with a popcorn poem i made up especially for Crafter's companion to say "Thanks For Your Wonderful Designs!!"

Popcorn is cute, Popcorn is sweet.  Popcorn is the very best bear,

You ever could meet!  He gladens our hearts, and brings us smiles.  By sending our love, Across the miles!

Hi everyone, thought I'd have another go, so here's entry No.2.  I made this card for my friend's mum's 80th birthday using the CC Summer Outdoor Stories.   Hope you all had a wonderful New Year – I spent mine in hospital getting my burst appendix removed – hey ho!!

Wow Barbara they are really wonderful cards!  I have just got the cute companions complete set, and am looking forward to having a play with it.    I too spent New Year's Eve, New Year's day, and the following day  in the hospital with my son. His asthma got out of control and he had a serious allergic reaction to the extra medication he was given. Cry   It's amazing how many people I have spoken to that spent time at the hospital over the New Year!  Still the main thing is that we are all okay now!

Your cards are truly lovely! Good luck. Kiss

Hi Karen, thanks, so glad you like my cards – hope the judges do too!!!!!!!!   I'm besotted with the Cute Companions sets, and find them all so versatile, so I'm sure you're going to have hours and hours of fun with them.  Good luck to you too. Laughing

Hi again Karen, just seen your longer message re the hospital.  Wow, you must have been frantic, but as you say, we are all OK now.  Best wishes for the New Year.  Smile

ENTRY NUMBER THREE!!! Smile

This one is my VERY FIRST ATTEMPT at a tunnel card.  I did it with no template and no instructions so I'm feeling as pleased as punch with it!!

I used my cute companions outdoors decoupage sheets, printed them 4times, and layered up all the bits, using less of the scene the closer to the front of the card I got.  The papers and insert are all from the same cd.  For the concertina folds at the side I used my trusty C.C. Ultimate Pro, with gems and peel offs – coloured in with Sakura Startdust to finish off this card.  The card used was from the C.C. special print pack, and is a wonderful pearlised green to compliment the design.

I hope you all like it as much as I do – I had heard about tunnel cards before, but had no clue how you did them.  And I just knew the garden scene would really adapt well to one.  I'm so very happy that I tried it now! HUGE smiles! Smile

Thank you for your kind  comments Gill.  There are so many lovely entries on here it's a shame we all can't win! Smiling.

It was really easy in the end, it just took a little thought before I started, and making sure everything was going to fit before I actually stuck anything down.

The trick is having a seperate front and back piece, connected by your concertina folds at the sides.  It looks so lovely when done, but is actually not that hard to do.

Maybe I could post instructions on here for anyone that's interested?  Or a different part of the forum? What do  you think?

Best wishes,

Karen.

Gill I am so sorry I haven't posted the instructions yet.  Just logged on very quickly to say

that I have not forgotten you!

My poor little Albie (3) has been so ill this week, we have had an absolute nightmare time.

He still isn't properly back on his feet yet, but I promise you as soon as things are back to normal,

I will make the time to post the instructions for you.

I don't normally let people down and I just wanted to apologise.

Best wishes,

Karen.
