I know lots of folk don't rate Epson, but I have two that I use,  the photo RX620 which only goes up to A4 and the Photo 1400 A3, both I find print brilliant so long as you tell it which paper/card you are using, ie semi gloss/matt etc etc. I like the idea that they are seperate ink cartridges.

Sure you will get loads of other advice, but I think the paper is more important than the printer to get good end results.

Hi Hev i have a lexmark at the moment its good quality but very expensive ink so im getting an Epsom cheap ink and very good prints my Friend has one her prints are better than mine the colour is so vibrant so that's going to be my choice like Bren said individual ink cartridges which i think is great as you only replace what you need with the lexmark its only one cartridge and when one colour goes all the lot is useless hope this helps

Hey thanks for your help Bren, i looked on the net and i cant find the RX620!!! but i think im going to go for the bigger one, A3 size, lol!!! thanks for your help Gill, i myself have a lexmark but its not a photo one, but the cartridges for it are that expensive i dont use it, so i'll be investing in an Epson next week, cant wait!! which Epson has your friend got Gill?? out of curiosity?? :-) ))

thanks millions for your help with this as im not clued up on this printing papers etc, but really want to have a go with all the cd's you can buy now, its an expensive hobbie but i love it!!

You won't regret getting the A3 size as you can make A4 cards front and back all in one go, plus some of the pictures on CD's are good enough to frame for on the wall.

Oh and I buy the copy inks that makes it cheaper and still get good results as I say good quality paper makes a difference.

Gill love that piccie
